  • 1 The Advanced IT Core has undergone exhaustive gap and risk analyses by an external third party and have used the results to fill existing gaps and to develop a comprehensive, ongoing risk management plan. As a result, the Office of Research Administration has affirmed its confidence in our ability to keep ePHI on our systems safe. Contact us if you would like more information.

2 Most services described below are free to IU faculty, staff, and graduate students to support activities such as preliminary research aimed at attracting extramural funding, etc. Please see our rate & policies for further details.

3 While we ensure that your data will stay safe with us, you are still the data owner and thus ultimately responsible for securing your ePHI. We will gladly provide help with this task, but strongly recommend that you follow best security practices in order to remain HIPAA compliant.
